  16.

The History of Denim CD-ROM is a entertaining and comprehensive look at the most famous of all fabrics, denim. Originally called Serge de Nimes (cloth of Nimes), denim was used primarily for workman's clothing. Over time, it has become a favorite material for even Haute Couture. The History of Denim CD-ROM celebrates the rich history of the cloth and we hope that you will enjoy learning it, stitch by stitch.

  21. Installation

  23. 1. Put the CD-ROM in your CD drive.
  24. 2. Double-click on the HOD Installer application on the CD.
  25. 3. Choose a drive to install the application and then click on install.
  26. 4. If you didn't have QuickTime installed, you will need to restart your computer.
  27. 5. Open the History of Denim folder on your hard drive and double-click the History of Denim application.

  33. The installer for the History of Denim will install the following:

  35. The History of Denim folder - a folder containing the application and its XTRAs.

  37. The History of Denim application \'8b the program file that you double-click to run.

  39. XTRAS folder \'8b a folder containing files need by the application.
  40.  
  41. QuickTime 2.5 Extensions \'8b the extensions needed to run the movies.

  47. Volume for the program is set in your Sound control panel or with your external speakers.

  49. Occasionally you will need to click on a palette to select it before moving it, clicking on a button or selecting an item in the scrolling list.
